I created this subject to serve a repository for all new requested features and debate their merits.
Easy changes /enhancements might be incorporated into the current SI "1.0" site, while more complex ones will be deferred to SI 2.0, which is my project to rewrite the entire site with a more extensible architecture.
My ETA for the next major version of the site is late 2012, and we have a number of nice enhancements planned. However, my number one priority is to make sure the current site continues to run smoothly with 99.99% up-time and super-fast performance.
So there will be no "next version" unless and until it is a significant improvement over what we have now, as agreed by a majority of SI members who beta test the new site.
