A weather site MoneyPenny pointed out to me, comments about the various models, lots of people who know their stuff, can't recommend it enough. Throw them a couple of bucks if your home gets spared. The site is often overwhelmed with traffic. This site is not hurricane-specific so the link is good for whatever storm is passing through:

Swiftmud site that Triffin posted. This one is interesting, it compares the NHC predicted path of the storm to the actual path of the storm as established by the planes that fly over them.
