Introduction Compact
Anyone in SI besides me interested in poetry? I searched the SI database for poetry, and found some references to the word, some stock market ditties, but much to my surprise, perhaps due to my poor searching skills, no place for posting poems.

I've been lurking in the Coffee Shop for some little time now, and I've noted some interesting writings. I've decided to take something of a chance with my ego here, and post six of my original poems with the hope of stimulating dialogue, soliciting feedback, and encouraging others to join me.
