FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- March 25, 1997--GROUP LONG DISTANCE, INC. (NASDAQ: GLDI, GLDIW) (BSE: GPL, GPLW) announced today the Public Offering of 1,250,000 Common Shares at $4.50 per Share and 1,250,000 Redeemable Common Stock Purchase Warrants at $0.10 per Warrant.

LT Lawrence & Co., Inc. managed the underwriting group.

GROUP LONG DISTANCE, INC. is a long distance telecommunications provider. The Company utilizes special network service contracts to provide its customers with products and services through major national long distance telecommunications carriers such as Tel-Save, ICI, AT&T and LDDS WORLDCOM. The Company also markets pre-paid calling cards and offers Internet, email and data services.
