Thanks, guys, for defending the freedom we share to state our own opinions. I will continue to warn when the market looks overbought due for a correction. It's what I do.

You deserve to see my weekly chart. Is this the dip that turns into the dive? Maybe, it has a good chance.
We only have one day so far on this weekly candle. What will the rest of the week tell us? Turn out the lights OR you dummy, you should have bought the dip. I'm just sayin', be careful out there, it is a scary time.
If this week's candle stays red and keeps getting longer to the downside, then oops, we have a long way to go down. The algorithms will switch to sell, and you will have a hard time keeping up.

This is why I could be called a hedgehog right now.

Of course, if you are wrong and the bottom drops out, you will really regret it.
The question is whether this is it or is the next one it. There is no doubt that a big correction is coming.
A 50% drop in a fast slide is coming. Which dip will it be is the only question. This one has a real good chance of falling off the cliff.
Look at the weekly S&P. MACD, Stochastic, trend lines, all look bad. The choice is yours.
I think strong hedging is in order. But that is just me.
Of course, you can just go all in and buy the dip again. After all, it has worked well in the past.
It will work well till it doesn't. Then it will collapse so fast it will rip your face off.

Today's decline from 6699.52 opened up the possibility that the end of Supercycle (I) occurred. The wave structure allows for it. We will know shortly if the big decline in wave (II) lies ahead OR we continue higher to new all-time highs. It doesn't matter which occurs. It is important, however, to be aware of the two possibilities and prepare accordingly until the correct course is determined.

Seriously, take a hard look at those tech stock daily charts. If we break 6250, the party's over and this market is toast.
This is the sector that has held the market up, and when it goes, the market crashes.
Do not look for peace in the Ukraine war to save the market because that is NOT going to happen.
IMO the only way this war can end is with a total victory for Russia and the defeat of Ukraine.
Russia will attain its goal of no NATO on its border and will retain Crimea and the territory it controls now. Russia does not want all of Ukraine but Putin may have to defeat all of it to end the war. Ukraine cannot win the war regardless of the equipment and supplies from the West. Ukraine does not have the manpower. If the West sends troops into the conflict, it will be suicide because so will China and North Korea. The West cannot defeat Russia, China, and North Korea in a conventional war. Even if it was close or winnable, would the worldwide devastation and death be worth it? All this to save the most corrupt country in the world for the corrupt, comedian-turned-dictator, Zelenskyy.
There is only one step beyond that, and that is a nuclear exchange with no winners and all losers, and the destruction of the world as we know it.
All of this is because a neocon-controlled NATO and a bunch of corrupt Nazis in Ukraine hated Russia so bad that they purposely provoked Putin to attack Ukraine in the ridiculous hope that Ukraine would defeat Russia.

Based on the wave structure, there have been several occasions when the Cycle wave B bull move could have ended. 6147 is another one. It is compelling. Evidence continues to mount that B ended at 6147 and Cycle wave C down began. Length for [3] of C should reach 2000 points.
I believe the wave [2] of Cycle C relief rally has ended at 5968, and we are very early in the 2000 point drop of wave [3] of Cycle C down.

Bear markets are strange animals in that they destroy bulls and bears alike at different stages of its development.

I have no doubt that SPX will fall 40%-60% before the first leg down of this bear market concludes. However, rallies are features of bear markets and we are currently in the midst of one. $5700 SPX appears to be stiff resistance.

Will the $5700-$5750 area of SPX be taken out. I don't know. The Market is acting irrational in response to friendly tariffs news, which is bullish. At some point, reality will set in. But I have learned as a person and swing trader to live in the moment without passing judgement.

Life and markets are strange at times. But it is important to go with the flow while being on the look out for reversal patterns.

While the one-trick pony perma bulls and most market analysts call for new ATHs, I remain bearish. My call for a 1000-point drop from 5755 remains in place after missing it by less than 100 points already.
After a couple of days early this week, a dramatic drop to as low as 3500 will begin. That will be a drop of 2647 points from the ATH of 6147. Enjoy!
