When someone like Chucky Schumer calls you weird it is a compliment.
I am proud to be considered weird to Chucky Schumer.
In Schumer's world, you are weird if you are straight (as God made you), believe in a closed border, and are pro-life.
If you believe in equal opportunity rather than equal outcomes and love our Constitutional Republic and hate their Democracy you are extremely weird.
If you seek peace in the world instead of constant war you are an unpatriotic Putin-loving weirdo.
And if you are a born-again Christian, you are terminally weird and barely human.
I invite every normal American to join the Schumer Weirdoes and the Hillary Deplorables.
In my view, they are pretty good people.

The two biggest idiots on SI continue to carry each other. I am interested to see who cries the loudest
when the truth of their mutual stupidity is revealed again. LOLOL
The real challenge is uncovering which one is dumb and which one is dumber.

Windy, You did your last two detailed count charts for SPX on July 1 and July 10. When your chart on July 1 failed you had to rework it on July 10. Now you have not tried again for twenty days.
How come?
How about it, do one for me. The SPX is a pretty important index, I imagine many others would like to see an update also. So, if you will not do one for me do one for your fans.
Put your Elliott Wave brilliance to work and show us one of your detailed updated SPX chart counts.
You can post it on the usual 3-4 boards that you post on and I will find it.
TIA

I. What are neoconservatives?

There are certain beliefs held by neocons that I agree with. Most ideologies have common ground in varying amounts with all others. You can find something good in almost all of them. However, I believe neocons are a huge threat to not just our country but all of humanity.
Since I believe they are such a great threat and to promote a better understanding of who they are and what is their purpose I offer the following.
Most of what neoconservatives believe in the areas of society, religion, economics, and culture are in line with traditional conservative values and are not only acceptable but desirable. Sadly, they have had little to no success in those areas. We have witnessed a moral decline in our country and the Western World that is unprecedented since Sodom and Gomorrah and the end of the Roman Empire. Vladamir Putin gave a speech in which he warned the West that moral decay, rejection of religion, and destruction of the family would destroy our society just as it had destroyed society in Russia before Russia rejected Communism.
It is in the area of FOREIGN POLICY that I completely part company with the neocons. It is here that the fate of our country and the world is threatened by neoconservative beliefs.
Neoconservatives have been very successful in the formulation of foreign and military policy, particularly in the administrations of Presidents George H.W. Bush, George W. Bush, and Joe Biden. They contend that power—military, economic, or political—that is unused is for all practical purposes wasted. They believe the might of the United States should be employed around the world to promote American interests through domination. And it is in the interests of the United States, they say, to promote the development of democratic regimes abroad. This often requires that the US intervene by military might or more often covertly to bring about regime change in other sovereign countries. They have intervened in regimes of some 80 different countries since they took control of US foreign policy. Neoconservatives wish, in the words of Pres. Woodrow Wilson, to “make the world safe for democracy.” And indeed, neoconservatives often describe their views on foreign policy as “Wilsonian.”
The last two glaring examples of the failure of this foreign policy is Syria and Ukraine.
The failure of just these two attempts at regime change and the imposition of US will have resulted in the death and maiming of millions of human beings. All to no advantage to the US. In the minds of neocons that is of no consequence because American lives are not being lost in great numbers. I have to add, not yet.
What they do not seem to understand is that this is not a board game where we are the only powerful player and we can win all the property and dominate the whole board without real opposition. In the case of Russia and China the US neocon's policy of domination through containment by isolation and possible regime change of these two countries that we have branded enemies WILL NOT WORK.
Both of these countries have enough Nukes, along with what we have, to destroy the whole planet.

Next, I will look at the Cuban Missile Crisis and the death of President Kennedy and what can be learned from it.

Anyone who is always bullish will always get burnt eventually...

It's easy to be bullish, anyone can do it, it doesn't take brains, just buy and hold forever even when you shouldn't...

Yes, even a caveman can do it...
Knowing in advance when to buy and sell while everyone else is just holding and sitting with a huge loss and wondering what happened to their market gains is where the real talent is displayed...

But then, of course, the stupid ones are never capable of learning...

IMO this is no time for looking through rose-colored glasses.
Running around the boards I see perma bulls struggling to hold onto hope like a drowning man grasping at straws. Pretty sad.
