But if that's to be programmed in, we get into questions like, "Whose sense of morality and ethics?" Judeo-Christian, Muslim, Hindu, and theirs and others' religious variations and interpretations. It's been debated and the subject of wars since the beginning of civilization, up to today.
Will different AI systems have different moral codes, depending on their creators' values?
Or will each system's morals and ethics be left up to it to reconcile the various systems and interpretations, and figure out for itself which path to choose? Will there be "good" and "evil" AI?
Might be time for them to consult with some religious scholars and fold that into the mix. |

will AI be any different...prolly not...just a tool of the powers that be
Of course, in addition to this>>
To put it simply, artificial intelligence is ‘intelligence’ exhibited by machines that may mirror human ability – the ability to learn, read, write, create, and analyze. (from next article)
*it will also mirror the bad traits |

And yes, they've been more or less corrupted at times, not unlike the politicians that they've produced.
In the end, it's GIGO, swayed by the writers of the algorithms and the GI that they've already digested and regurgitated thanks to the bias in the database that's reflected over the past 20+ years of social media and data manipulation.
The FBI (and other intel agencies) and certain cooperative news media have been known for a trick involving the FBI planting a story with a cooperative media contact who publishes it, then permitting the FBI to cite the "legitimate" news media as a seemingly unbiased source when, e.g. seeking warrants and wiretaps.
Similarly, AI can use "planted" information to establish facts, history, and analysis in order to make decisions that will affect the future.
AI can be a force multiplier for falsehood. |
