Scientists are finding new ways to explore low-gravity environments, like the ones found on moons or asteroids.
Researchers have just wrapped up the first round of testing for SpaceHopper, a three-legged robot that will be used in pursuit of knowing what life could be like in those low or no-gravity places. SpaceHopper is being designed to be able to "jump around" on asteroids rather than drive across the terrain, or fly over it, like other explorers and rovers have done.

This acquisition by the UK’s company for Robotics and artificial intelligence, based at Heriot-Watt University and in collaboration with The University of Edinburgh.
This will mark the predominant moment of a successful accomplishment towards attaining aimed goals that consider the need to engage the public with Humanoid Robot

This "climate change" propaganda piece is just that.
It takes 30 seconds of curiosity and research to debunk hours or professionally produced political propaganda -- if one bothers to do it. Here are a couple of examples. There's plenty more.

Created by Swiss Mile, a spin-off from E-T-H Zurich's Robotic Systems Lab, it can climb stairs (forwards or backwards, it's all the same to this thing) and rear up on two legs for greater height. This robot can perform a variety of tasks, including mapping, inspection, disaster relief, as well as logistics in urban environments.

To: Savant who wrote (1858) | 5/12/2024 8:26:10 AM | From: Selectric II | | | Is the thing that's missing from AI programming a sense of morality and ethics?
But if that's to be programmed in, we get into questions like, "Whose sense of morality and ethics?" Judeo-Christian, Muslim, Hindu, and theirs and others' religious variations and interpretations. It's been debated and the subject of wars since the beginning of civilization, up to today.
Will different AI systems have different moral codes, depending on their creators' values?
Or will each system's morals and ethics be left up to it to reconcile the various systems and interpretations, and figure out for itself which path to choose? Will there be "good" and "evil" AI?
Might be time for them to consult with some religious scholars and fold that into the mix. |

will AI be any different...prolly not...just a tool of the powers that be
Of course, in addition to this>>
To put it simply, artificial intelligence is ‘intelligence’ exhibited by machines that may mirror human ability – the ability to learn, read, write, create, and analyze. (from next article)
*it will also mirror the bad traits |
