I don't know, I don't buy it.
The 2019 picture does indeed have 200 "dots" I'll call them, although some are larger red and some smaller orange, whatever that means.
The 2001 picture has roughly 300 "dots" showing the 200 most common shots. How can that be. Just looking at the charts one can tell the difference.
Roughly half of typical games field goal attempts are 3 point attempts, I certainly don't believe the other half are only in the paint.
Not arguing the 3 point shot hasn't been the dominant theme, maybe would just love to see a link to where they explain how they reached those numbers.

It pains me to watch America's Sweethearts - Philadelphia sports fans - suffering so much emotional trauma. It's so unfair!

Yeah, that was a great finish.
Playoff basketball is big time fun.

Do you guys allow WNBA here, or are you strictly NBA sexists-lol?

Just kidding.

All are welcome here, Koan.
The only rule that I'm aware of is to keep it about basketball.
I know you're a fan of the woman's game and appreciate how
it's exploded in popularity.

We can all be glad our granddaughters
are growing up in a culture that encourages their athletic achievement.
Fun for them & fun for us.

Why would you even ask such a thing?

It was just a poor attempt at humor.

I didn't mean to be an asshole,

Sorry!

But as you ask: I play poker for a living pretty much every day, in a sports club with walls of TV screens, and very few guys I play with every day have any interest in women's sports, so that is where that comes from.

I prefer women's basketball, as it is more about strategy, shooting and passing than just some 8 foot, four hundred pound guy muscling to the basket to dunk it.

If the basket was raised a foot or two, to prevent dunking, then there would be a lot more players with great skills playing who are just too small today.

Is height more fun to watch than skill?

More Pete Maravich's, Michael Jordans, and Larry Birds, who were much more fun to watch, IMO, than Wilt Chamberlain or Shaquille.

Women's basketball is more about skill and strategy than height because they cannot dunk.

But I mean no disrespect or insults.

Just talking :).
