A personal note yo my fellow SI members: Looks like this recent donation drive brought in around $4,200. Half of it came from two very generous donors. According to the forum stats there are 38,000 pairs of eyeballs on this forum. Even if we assume that only 10% are active, we should have done a lot better than $4,200. I followed chowder over from the SA site. I'm mainly a dividend growth investor. Retired about 1 year and planning to use divs to supplement our budget. Currently living on SS + some savings. I'm sure our income level is tiny compared to most here. As long as it is enough for us to pay the bills and maintain our current lifestyle (which is very modest), I will be happy. I am self-taught and have been buying individual stocks since 2009. I also sell cash-secured puts and covered calls on some positions. I hope to learn some new things on this site. I'm especially interested in solid dividend growth stocks and other 'safe' income ideas. Ex: I have several I-Bonds for money not needed in the next year. Thanks for adding me to the site!
