No question had we put our top 400m runners in the relay, we win and set a massive world record. Still, given the times of our competitors, we should have won. One option would have been to Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone at anchor. She and Bol are both 400m hurdlers who probably would also finish top two in the flat 400. I've been a Syndey fan since her days at Union Catholic in NJ. I even traveled to Boston in 2017 to see her Emma Coburn, Brenda Martinez, and Jenny Simpson set the indoor DMR (distance medley relay) world record. As part of the press I had an opportunity afterwards to talk to her and say congrats. My current favorite runner is Quincy Wilson (not Hall). The kid is killing it at 16 in the 400. You'll see him on a relay. If he stays healthy, he should break the world record before he turns 18. We got to call his race at Ocean Breeze a few months ago. - Jeff
