As I'm sure you know, I'm the world's biggest Mets fan. OK, in all seriousness, I'm the world's biggest Mets fan today.

The Mets were nice enough to invite us and neighboring Fairfield's Little League Challenger teams to a special training session literally on Citifield's pristine outfield grass. The kids got to meet Mr. and Mrs. Met and Buddy (their official service dog). When it came to hitting baseballs, they were hitting the real deal.

One of our kids was crushing the ball. The Mets admin joked that if he hit the ball over Mr. Met's head he'd give him his assistant's car to drive. Sure enough, he did lol. But, no, he doesn't have a license ha. That same super nice kid is actually a big Red Sox fan. So "of course" he's telling us how last week he was hanging out with Judge (and Aaron's mom) and Verdugo... and said they were all super nice to him. Two different lots in life, each inspiring the other... as it should be.
