Yet another Chrome zero-day patch (125.0.6422.113)

Chrome 125.0.6422.113 patches yet another critical, zero-day security flaw being actively exploited in Google’s web browser. Microsoft Edge and other Chromium-based browsers (e.g. Brave, Opera, Arc, and Chromium itself) will also need the critical patches.
Google fixes eighth actively exploited Chrome zero-day this year

Google has released a new emergency security update to address the eighth zero-day vulnerability in Chrome browser confirmed to be actively exploited in the wild. … “Google is aware that an exploit for CVE-2024-5274 exists in the wild,” the company said in the security advisory. … CVE-2024-5274 is the eighth actively exploited vulnerability that Google fixed in Chrome since the beginning of the year, and the third this month.
Chromium, the open-source web browser project on which Google Chrome and other browsers are built – and available for Linux, macOS, iOS, and Windows – doesn’t include Google’s proprietary alterations, such as Google’s tracking mechanisms.
