I'm settling for only one pick: ATL over 8.5.
  • Arthur Smith is a smart coach with a good system. He has a great OL and good weapons (Bijan is a superstar) at his disposal. The offense was good last year, and will be even better this year. QB play will be at best ordinary, but Mariota is shell-shocked for some reason (as Philly fans are learning) and Ridder will at least have his head on straight.
  • Easiest schedule in the NFL
  • Biggest cap space in the NFL, and most of that went into upgrading the defense. The defense will be average, but will appear to be very good against weak opponents. 10 or 11 games are against young, unproven QBs.
ATL will win around 12 games by feasting on weak opponents. If they had a tough schedule, they'd be a .500 team.
