|I go to the local Best Buy on a regular basis, talk to the employees when I can. They rave about the OLEDs. To me the difference between any OLED and any LED or QLED is night and day, but I have always been an early adopter of new video tech, so I tend to discount my eye. The last visit, where I bought the LG 4K DVD player, I spent a little more time talking to them....since I was actually buying something lol|
First, they(plural) said they often get customers in the store that haven't bought a TV for 10+ years. They stop at the OLEDs and are mesmerized. How is that possible? The only issue is price. There was an older guy there that walked down the wall and stopped at the Sony 65" OLED. The most expensive product in the store(they don't have a 77 OLED or a wallpaper model). He called the rep over and started working on a deal.
